Yellowknife Fieldhouse Indoor Play Area

The Yellowknife Fieldhouse includes a dedicated indoor play area for children five and younger. The City of Yellowknife lists daily public play hours and confirms that the playground is free to use in 2026. Families can visit the playground independently of the multi-sport fields, which require rental bookings. A parent or guardian must supervise children at all times, with the city publishing a six-children-to-one-adult supervision ratio. Indoor footwear or stockings are recommended, and food and drinks stay outside the play area. The wider Fieldhouse has a concession, track and climbing wall, each with its own access rules. Statutory holidays use reduced hours. The playground itself cannot be rented for a private event.
