Preschool Play World is a caregiver-supervised indoor playground program run by Newport Parks & Recreation inside the Newport Municipal Gym. The setup is geared to babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, with soft play mats, slides, jumpers, play castles, crafts, and room to move when outdoor weather is rough. It is free for residents and non-residents, making it one of the easiest low-cost indoor options in the Northeast Kingdom for younger kids. Families should plan around seasonal hours and occasional closures when the gym is reserved for other uses.
