Play Pals is the City of Ames Parks and Recreation indoor playground program held inside the Community Center Gymnasium. It is a simple, budget-friendly option designed for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, with ride-ons, wagons, a slide, and other basic gross-motor toys rather than a permanent commercial play structure. For local families who want an easy weekday morning energy-burn without paying play-cafe prices, it is a strong value.
