Mokupāpapa Discovery Center is a family-friendly interpretive center on the Hilo Bayfront focused on Papahānaumokuākea and marine life. It is not a traditional indoor playground, but it is a worthwhile indoor outing for curious kids thanks to self-guided exhibits, models, artwork, bilingual interpretation, and a large saltwater aquarium that gives mixed-age groups plenty to explore at their own pace.
