Editorial notes

What stands out

A strong pick for families who want real movement, real equipment, and predictable drop-in play windows instead of a café-first setup.

Good fit

Read more about this location

The MAYCA Studio is primarily a youth cheer, gymnastics, and baton studio, but it is also one of the clearest indoor-play options in southern Vermont thanks to its recurring Play Gym, Family Gym, and Open Gym sessions. For family visits, the most relevant offering is Family Gym for infants through age 12 with caregivers, alongside Play Gym for ages 0-5. The setup includes balance beams, bars, vaults, rings, a 30-foot trampoline, plus slides, tunnels, seesaws, balls, scooter boards, ride-ons, skill mats, and soft climbers. It is a better fit for families who want an active gym-style play session than for those looking for a café-style hangout or padded all-day playground.
