Editorial notes

What stands out

Best treated as a helpful mall amenity, not a destination indoor playground. The free entry is great, but the short timed-session format changes the visit.

Good fit

  • Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers
  • Families already visiting the mall
  • Short indoor play breaks
  • Parents who want a free younger-kid option

Consider another option if

  • Families wanting a long open-play session
  • Older kids looking for bigger challenge play
  • Visitors who do not want reservation-style timing

Read more about this location

Kids’ Castle is Lakeside Shopping Center's indoor play area for younger children, built around a medieval-themed climbing castle near the mall food-court entrance. It stands out because admission is free, but visits are structured around short reservable sessions rather than open-ended play. For families running errands or meeting up at the mall, it can be a very useful younger-kid stop, especially thanks to nearby family amenities like nursing rooms and a family restroom.
