Explorer's Cove is a dedicated indoor playland inside the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA's Youth Development Center in South Sioux City. The official play space is built around a large pirate-ship structure, climbing elements, and imaginative play features, and the YMCA says it is best suited for children ages 1–12. Families can visit with a YMCA membership or a day pass, and parent or guardian supervision is required throughout play. Birthday rentals are also available, which makes it one of the clearest true indoor-play destinations in the Siouxland side of this region.
