Curiosity Place is the public play space operated by Great Lakes Children's Museum inside Grand Traverse Mall. Families will find hands-on exhibits built for ages 1 to 10, including a climb-and-slide Coast Guard lookout, ball wall, water play, train tables, pretend-play stations, and a dedicated toddler-and-caregiver area. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows, and the layout works especially well for families who want a lower-pressure museum visit rather than a giant commercial play gym. Birthday parties are available both during regular hours and as full after-hours rentals.
