The Children's Discovery Center at Allen County Museum is a hands-on museum play space where kids can explore local history through interactive exhibits rather than pure gross-motor play. Families can expect pretend-play and discovery elements like a general store, one-room schoolhouse, Native American wigwam, and a large model railroad layout. It is a better fit for preschool and elementary-age kids who enjoy imaginative play and slower-paced exploration than for children seeking climbing structures or trampoline-style activity.
