Bainbridge Play Cafe places an undersea-themed, Scandinavian-inspired play area behind a neighborhood cafe. The play space is designed for children six and younger and uses toys and equipment for open-ended play. The front cafe also welcomes people who are not using the playground, with coffee, pastries, grab-and-go lunches and snacks. Families can choose one- or two-hour play visits, and reservations are recommended because only a few walk-in spots are available. The cafe also offers memberships, classes, storytime and parent gatherings. Birthday parties and private events can be arranged separately. It sits just off High School Road near Highway 305, behind Plate & Pint.
